Emergency Medical Services

Founded in 1972, Bellmore-Merrick EMS is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) ambulance corps located in Bellmore, New York.

For over 50 years, we have extended our services to residents of Bellmore, Merrick, North Bellmore, North Merrick, and certain areas of East Meadow. Our corps is composed of a group of passionate and hardworking individuals committed to aiding those in our community.

We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of emergency medical care, surpassing both national and local medical standards.

At Bellmore-Merrick EMS, our commitment extends to offering a wide range of community services. This includes maintaining an ambulance on standby for diverse events such as the annual Merrick Spring and Fall Festivals, The Long Island Lung Cancer Walk for Hope, and The Lupus Foundation of America Walk to End Lupus.

We prioritize community education by organizing numerous accessible training sessions. During these sessions, individuals can acquire essential skills such as CPR, First Aid, and Narcan administration training.
